Help Shape the Chamber’s 2025 Legislative Priorities

Earlier this year, the Citrus County Chamber, in partnership with the Florida Chamber, conducted a survey to help shape our 2025 Business and Legislative Agenda. At the local level, we asked you to identify the top three issues most impacting your business. Here’s how the responses ranked:

• Workforce: availability, skills, reliability – 53.4%
• Insurance availability/cost – 47.9%
• Attainable workforce housing – 42.5%
• Road infrastructure/resurfacing – 35.6%
• Mental health services – 31.5%
• Childcare options for employees – 26.0%
• Water quality/quantity – 17.8%
• Taxes – 15.1%

Now, three months and an election later, as the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee finalizes the 2025 priorities we will advocate for with the Florida Legislature, we want to hear from you again.
