Description

The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce will welcome Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Jared Perdue as the keynote speaker at its May Chamber Luncheon for an update on the Department of Transportation’s five year work plan as it relates specifically to Citrus County. 

The presentation will cover key infrastructure priorities, including efforts to reestablish transportation concurrency, support for local roads that serve as evacuation routes, increased traffic impacts from the Suncoast Parkway, and updates on major projects such as the widening of U.S. 41 and State Road 200, as well as the State Road 200 bridge over the Withlacoochee River.
