Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Warehouse & Packaging Specialist to join our fulfillment team in Hernando, FL. In this role, you will handle inventory receiving, precision seed packaging, order pick-and-pack operations, and safe warehouse distribution using material handling equipment (including forklifts).

Key Responsibilities

Seed Packaging & Counting: Safely weigh, package, seal, and label vegetable and specialty seeds into varied pack sizes according to strict lot-control standards.

Receiving & Inventory Control: Inspect incoming shipments of bulk seed and warehouse supplies, verify packing slips against purchase orders, and record lot numbers into inventory.

Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and stage wholesale and e-commerce orders for daily parcel (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and freight dispatch.

Warehouse & Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, stack, and move palletized inventory.

Facilities & Quality Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, climate-regulated seed storage and packaging room compliant with seed sanitary guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 1+ years in warehouse receiving, packing, material handling, or agricultural operations preferred.

Equipment: Prior experience operating a forklift (certification preferred; on-site certification available).

Language: Bilingual (English / Spanish) strongly preferred.

Attention to Detail: Excellent basic math skills (weight unit conversions, inventory counts) and high accuracy in tracking lot numbers.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive manual packaging tasks.

Reliability: Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to Hernando, FL.
